Books by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creators

We have resources for over 40 Indigenous-authored titles, designed to equip teachers with the skills, knowledge and confidence to teach Indigenous stories to their students. One of our key partnerships is with Broome-based publishing house, Magabala Books. Together, we have published 24 resources to accompany books by Aboriginal writers and illustrators. Below are a selection of secondary resources created as part of this partnership – click on the book covers to find out more:

The Garret Podcast

The Garret is a podcast that features interviews with renowned Australian authors, and is hosted by Astrid Edwards. We partnered with The Garret to produce resources to accompany a selection of their interviews. These units are designed to be shorter in length and with a focus on learning about the craft of writing. Begin exploring these resources here.
