There’s still time to apply for the sixth annual Reading Australia Fellowship!
The Fellowship supports an experienced English and literacy teacher or teacher librarian to undertake professional skills development and career-enhancing opportunities. The successful candidate will receive $15,000 to undertake research to enhance their own skills and abilities while contributing to the teaching of Australian literature, English and literacy to Australian students.
Last year’s Fellow, Bridget Forster, has been investigating the use of AI generated texts in the English classroom. You can read her latest findings in Issue 129 of Connections, SCIS’ quarterly school library magazine.
Applications for the 2024 Fellowship close at 1pm on Monday 27 May. Check out our digital flyer for some testimonials, and visit the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund for more info on eligiblity or how to apply.
