The content in this unit of work links to the Australian Curriculum: English (Year 10). These concepts adapted from the Year 10 Achievement Standards for Productive and Receptive Modes, AC:E.
It is fully intended that work in this unit results in students’ evaluations of an innovative text, with an understanding of how language features, choice of images and vocabulary results in the development of an individual voice. Further, students will have the opportunity to explain different viewpoints, attitudes and perspectives through the development of cohesive and logical arguments, and develop an individual style through experimenting with language features, text structures, stylistic devices and images.
