Tai Snaith is an artist, writer, curator and mother. She studied sculpture at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and has since received numerous funds and awards to create large art projects locally and overseas. Tai has received the Australia Council Tokyo residency and was shortlisted for the Substation Contemporary art prize, the Hutchins works on paper prize, the Manning Prize, the inaugural Kisho Prize at Melbourne Central and was the winner of the Banyule Acquisitive award for works on paper. She is the author of The Family Hour in Australia and Sticks and Stones, Animal Homes.
