Call for English teachers

Are you an English teacher? Are you interested in sharing your views about teaching English? Contribute to important national research by completing a short survey about your experience as an English teacher for the Investigating Literary Knowledge in the Making of English Teachers project.

The researchers are interested in learning how English teachers develop knowledge about literature, and what they think is important literary knowledge for their students.  Consequently, the survey asks you questions about aspects of your own literary and teacher education and about your current professional practice as an English teacher and teacher of literature.

The survey is one facet of the Investigating Literary Knowledge in the Making of English Teachers project funded by the Australian Research Council for 4 years, 2016–2019.

We are also seeking early career English teachers (1–5 years’ experience) from Victoria, New South Wales, and Western Australia to undertake interviews for the project. For further information please visit our website.
