We’re on the lookout for the next Reading Australia Fellow for Teachers of English and Literacy!

The $15,000 Reading Australia Fellowship is offered by the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund to support professional skills development and career-enhancing opportunities for teachers.

It’s open to English and literacy teachers and teacher librarians who are currently working in a primary or secondary school and have at least five years of experience.

The successful Fellow will undertake research to enhance their own skills and abilities while contributing to the teaching of Australian literature in the classroom. Past Fellows have included Jantiena Batt (2022), Edwina West (2021), Karen Yager (2020) and Alex Wharton (2019).

More information about the Fellowship, its outcomes and the application process are available from the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund. Applications close 1pm Monday 22 May. Good luck!
