There’s just one more month to apply for the Reading Australia Fellowship for Teachers of English and Literacy!

This $15,000 fellowship, courtesy of the Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund, is open to English and literacy teachers and teacher librarians with at least five years’ experience in a primary or secondary school.

If you’ve been thinking about your own professional development and sitting on the next big research project, this fellowship is for you – it’s a great opportunity to enhance your own skills and abilities while contributing to the teaching of Australian literature in the classroom.

And because the successful Fellow will share their findings at conferences, the scope of impact will widen beyond your own classes and school to include teachers and students further afield.

If you’re interested in applying, be sure to read up on the criteria on the Copyright Agency’s website, and when you’re ready you can submit through SmartyGrants.
